The GunVault GVB2000 Biometric Multi Pistol Safe is the ideal handgun safe for durability, reliability, and quick access. It uses simple fingerprint recognition to open the safe, and the high-strength locking mechanism delivers a consistently reliable performance.

Technical Summary:
The GunVault GVB2000 uses biometric technology to recognize fingerprints and allow quick access to the safe. It is designed with a high-performance, self-learning algorithm that quickly identifies enrolled fingerprints, while maintaining a low False Reject Rate (FRR) for a given False Accept Rate (FAR). The self-learning algorithm updates the slight changes to fingerprints that occur over time, due to calluses, bruises, and cuts, and it helps distinguish the variations between the enrolled fingerprints. This biometric system can store up to 30 fingerprint templates.

The GVB2000 is constructed of 16-gauge steel walls on the outside and foam lining on the inside to protect your valuables from scratches and damage. The spring-loaded door is tamper proof. The battery power (9V) supply will last for 1 year under normal conditions, and the visual and audio alert will blink/beep if the batteries are low. An adapter is included to connect to an external AC/DC power supply. Mounting gear is included, and an interior courtesy light comes on when the door is opened. There is 1 fixed shelf for additional storage.

A back-up key is included for emergency situations. It is approved by the California Department of Justice (DOJ).
